Clay Food

(In-Progress) Art 1. Students will create a plate of food that is inspired by either a strong memory, or a strong cultural connection. Using clay techniques and acrylic painting they will create a realistic version of the meal of significance. Reflecting on food's role within art history as well as our individual lives. What does food mean? What can it represent? What can it tell us?
